Looking to add more casual pieces to your wardrobe? This is for you!
Hey Guys, Happy New Month, can you all believe we are halfway into 2018 and in the last ten days of the month of RAMADAN???!! May we all live to see many more🖤.
I once mentioned how the holiday got me to really fall in love with casual clothing (Read About it Here), SO I’ll be dropping a few changes/additions I had to make my wardrobe majorly casual.
1) SLIP-ONS:
These are very essential as it’s not everyday one goes all out and wear shoes and boots, sometimes you just need to let your leg breathe and all you need to do is purchase some pairs of cute slides and slippers and your casual game is on.
2) STRETCH SKIRTS
A year ago, I wouldn’t even have given straight stretch skirts a thought and so I always tried to make my stretch skirts wide enough, for easy movement. Fast forward to now, this was my main addition as I discovered that they were best for casual outings, they are so comfortable and rarely need ironing.
I was worried about my movement in them (I’m a fast walker🙊) but now I’m not so bothered.
3) OVERSIZED SHIRTS AND TOPS
For me, These are MAJOR essentials when buying straight skirts because (apart from oversizers making you look really cool), they give your derrière the perfect coverage and your look is overall modest.
I couldn’t get enough of this and although I love plain pieces, you can spice it up with some cool thrifted vintage shirts.
Planning on getting one of those soon!
4) SNEAKERS
Purchased a few pairs of sneakers and while I’m still working on satisfying my quest for ankle boots, I decided to purchase and try a cute pair of green “loafers”. I really just want to have a feel and decide if it’s my style or not.

5) HIJAB STYLING
I added more fun colours like mustard yellow, coral pink, army green and some others, not just because I’m really obsessed about building my scarf empire BUT MAINLY because I want enough scarfs that will be easy to drape and that is the perfect lazy hijab style I know.
These are some of the tips I have to share!! WHAT DO YOU THINK?
